On December 23, 2022, Associação Grão Vasco won the BPI Foundation “la Caixa” Childhood Award 2022, for its candidacy with the Project “WorkArt – Program to Combat Poverty and Social Exclusion ”, having been awarded the value of €20,480.00.

This project aims to promote the social inclusion of students in situations of poverty and social exclusion in the 2nd and 3rd years of schooling at the Grão Vasco School Group, Viseu, in particular at the João de Barros Primary School, through free attendance at artistic practices in the area of dance, in articulation with music, and practical entrepreneurial experiences. These practices are fully inclusive, as they are streamlined for the whole class.
